* Propane Customers:
Property Owner Owned Tanks: We will request proof of ownership so that we call provide service within the law in addition to extending a lower fuel per gallon fee.
Rented Tank: If you are currently renting tanks from a supplier, we advise you give them a call to see what their refund policy is so that you can plan accordingly. Another recommendation is to coordinate a swap when your tanks are half full (Note: but not too low). We will assist in a smooth transition.
WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accent checks & credit cards (Visa, Master Card & Discovery).
For credit cards payments a few options are available. You can call in a payment, keep a card on file or pay via our online portal.
CAN YOU AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE A CREDIT CARD?
Yes, We can upon request. We would charge your credit card on file within a few days of each delivery.
IS THERE A MINIMUM DELIVERY AMOUNT?
Yes, the minimal delivery amount is 100 gallons. Should you need an exception please call our office to make arrangements.
DO YOU OFFER AUTOMATIC DELIVERY?
Yes, Convenient automatic delivery is available for both heating oil & propane. Avoid the hassle of having to monitor your fuel levels and enjoy the peace of mind that your fuel supply is in great hands. Our delivery schedules are customized to meet each properties’ or business’ specific usage needs so you have the amount you need when it’s needed. Provencher has the experience and software to manage your fuel needs. We do ask that you partner with us and let us know if your usage has or will see a major change. Some examples might be winterizing a seasonal property, turning on a pool heater or extended use of a fireplace.
LAST MINUTE DELIVERY REQUEST & SCHEDULE CHANGES REQUEST?
We are here for our customers and will accommodate last minute delivery request into our already scheduled route. We do however ask that when a request is called in that you report the most accurate gauge reading. This will allow us to add it to the daily route in the most efficient way.
WHAT IF I NEED AN EMERGENCY FUEL DELIVERY DURING NON-BUSINESS HOURS?
Current customers who need an “No Fuel” emergency delivery at night, during a holiday or on a weekend should call our office 207-284-8068. You will be routed to our after-hours answering service who will get your message to the appropriate delivery driver. There is a $250.00 fee for an emergency fuel delivery.
We respectfully ask that you only call for an “Out of Fuel” emergency after you have checked your fuel tank gauge and it reads empty or extremely close to empty.
Please consider setting up automatic delivery or keeping a closer eye on your fuel levels so that your money is not spent on a fee but the product you need.
WHAT IF I HAVE NO HEAT EMERGENCY DURING NON-BUSINESS HOURS?
Current customers of Provencher Fuels & Jim Godbout Plumbing & Heating who have a “No Heat” emergency should call Jim Godbout Plumbing & Heating, Inc. office at 207-283-1200. You will be routed to our after-hours answering service who will get your message to the appropriate heating technician. There is a $250.00 for the first hour w/ a one (1) hour minimum then $187.50 thereafter for each hour of emergency time.
Below are a few steps you could take to ensure it’s an “No Heat” situation.
– Check that the room thermostat is set higher than the current room temperature.
– Check the thermostat batteries, if applicable.
– Check that the Emergency switch in in the “ON” position.
– Check your electrical panel breakers.
– Check the gauge on your fuel tank(s) to be certain there is fuel in it.
